    Job Description

    HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst 4 with a Counterintelligence Polygraph to join our team supporting missions at Fort Meade with our DoD customer. The Logistics Management Analyst 4 will direct and manage the accountability of items and materiel purchases across several geographically separated areas using specialized software. Tracks, monitors, and accounts for newly procured items as they are ordered and distributed to the user.

    • Develops logistics plans for facilities, personnel, equipment, spares, and maintenance.

    • Researches and develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

    • Prepares and presents reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to staff and customers as needed. Specific to inventory control.

    • Research logistics technology advances and applies appropriate technology to improve logistics processes.

    • Identifies and resolves complex logistics issues.

    • Use and maintain computer software specific to inventory accountability.

    • As needed, control, direct, and participate in operations with loading and unloading of transport vehicles

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

    Minimum Qualifications

    9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

    • TS/SCI level security clearance and polygraph required.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in supply management and logistics controls

    • In depth knowledge of inventory software

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

    • Travel up to 25%

    Preferred Requirements

    • Preferred Bachelor's degree in related discipline or at least 10+ years of directly related experience.

    • Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift and move objects up to 40lbs

    • Ability to drive 26' box truck (current/clean Driver's License/Record)

    • Able to operate material moving equipment; pallet jack, hand truck, lift stacker
