  • Amentum is seeking a Logistics Asset Manager to join our team and support our Washington, DC customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment throughout the world

    • Solve customs issues for worldwide transportation

    • Collaborate with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements

    • Support also includes, but is not limited to, assistance in acquisition, logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, SCRM compliance and managing an operational spares program

    • Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals and technical publications and an internal library. Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • PhD degree in a related field, and at least 2 years of related logistics / asset management experience

    • Or a Master's degree in a related field, and at least 4 years of related logistics / asset management experience

    • Or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 6 years of related logistics / asset management experience

    • Or an Associates degree in a related field, and at least 8 years of related logistics / asset management experience

    • Or a High school diploma/GED, at least 10 years of related logistics / asset management experience

    • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
