Operates the company's internal data communications systems.

Plans, designs, and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP). Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches. Works on project implementation.

Provides training and assists with proposal writing. Conducts project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.

Working at NTT

As a L1 Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's network infrastructure. You will monitor network performance to ensure that all systems are performing optimally. You will also manage all aspects of IT including server maintenance, software updates and troubleshooting problems when they ~~~.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• 3 years in an operational role with a strong background on Cisco administration and equipment

• 3 years network infrastructure experience

• 3 years network operations management

• 3 years vendor management

• 2 years understanding of Firewall integration into network services

• In depth knowledge of L1 and L2 routing as well as routing protocols with emphasis on OSPF

• Day to day Operational administration of network infrastructure, this includes but not limited to Routers, Switches and Wireless infrastructure

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an Information Technology position

• Relevant IT qualification or Certificate
