Janitorial Services Manager

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Janitorial Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manages the janitorial program and monitors work schedules of all personnel to ensure operation is within the listed Schedule of Services.

• Coordinate, schedule and supervise janitorial day, evening and weekend shift staff members and fill in as needed.

• Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory general use.

• Submit Purchase Order for paper and chemical products as needed.

• Supervise proper carpet cleaning, steam spot cleaning, floor stripping and waxing.

• Maintain daily turnover log for continuity of services across shifts.

• Manage janitorial staff to ensure performance standards are met for the site as well as company requirements.

• Working with Shared Services team, responsible for full cycle staffing of janitors to include, interviewing, hiring, performance management and separations.

• Perform special projects and related duties as requested.

• Other duties as required.

Requirements :

• Shall possess at least 5 years of experience in the management and supervision of commercial and institutional janitorial services.

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

• Experience managing staff of shift workers preferred to include hiring, performance management and separations.

• Ability to read and follow cleaning supply instructions/restrictions

• Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.

• Must be able to read and understand English.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft IOS and Outlook

• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.

• Must maintain a valid SC driver's license and a clean driving history.

• Must be able to support night and weekend operations as needed.

• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.

• Must possess excellent customer service values.
