Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO team lead to manage a small team of analysts to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of functionality within our SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex SAP projects, driving process improvements, and providing strategic guidance to enhance financial performance. This leader will play a pivotal role in many transformational projects over the upcoming years, including preparation and migration to S/4HANA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a team of business analysts to design, configure, and implement functionality within SAP FI/CO modules and related applications to support business requirements. Act as a subject matter expert on SAP FI/CO functionality, providing guidance on strategic decisions as well as support to business analysts and end users, as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Manage day-to-day operations of the SAP FI/CO system, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and implementing enhancements. Develop policies and procedures related to SAP FI/CO documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and training materials. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance system performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls within the SAP FI/CO environment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, and external vendors. Manage IT budget for financial applications and external consulting. Stay current on SAP best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of varied experience across SAP FI/CO modules, with some experience in a managerial or leadership role. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes. Proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Internal Orders. Experience leading full lifecycle SAP projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
