In this job, you'll work with the Manager of IT Software Asset Management with responsibility for documenting, analyzing, and providing financial and contract planning for the hardware and software assets, and cloud agreements as assigned. These include commercial-off-the-shelf software or hardware assets, cloud agreements, and software development tools.

    A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

    • Administers and owns licensing renewals requirements for hardware or software assets. Effectively collaborate with the supply management, finance, and IT operation functions to design and manage appropriate commercial, cost and pricing terms for IT Assets. Work with support organizations to ensure entitlements and support agreements are in place. Work with Supply Management and financial processes (accruals and amortization requests) to ensure material are receipted timely and following up on invoice payments for vendors and suppliers (providing payment detail).

    • Use software asset management knowledge to load and manage the license entitlement information in Flexera FNMS.

    • Manage service delivery with financial forecasting responsibility for asset support (hardware or software), and for support of process changes.

    • Support Project Managers in the review of business requests (including new projects and capacity growth) together with current operations (Cloud consumption, software license use, maintenance support, and/or hardware refresh) for impact to cost forecasts. Proactively review and adjust IT Asset Management cost forecasts.

    • Support IT and Business Application owners in evaluating continued maintenance support of software in the environment. Support operational activities required to renew vendor, from ensuring required documentation is provided in a timely manner to entering request into Ariba/SAP and processing payment requests.

    The essentials

    • 7 years working in IT Asset Management or related operational experience.

    • 3 years working with IT vendor contracts or supply management functions.

    • 2 years working with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

    The preferred

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or IT related field.

    • ITIL v3 or v4 certification(s) or experience working with ITIL v3 methodology.

    • 3 years working in SAP and Ariba contracting and procurement processes.

    • IAITAM certification(s) or experience working with IAITAM methodology.

    • Knowledge and skill working with IT Asset management tools such as Flexera FNMS, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Microsoft SCCM.

    You should know

    • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.? Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.? Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
