    Job Summary

    The International Employment Coordinator will prepare and file immigration petitions and applications to USCIS and Department of Labor on behalf of international employees. The coordinator will work with clients to gather necessary information and documentation, monitor status of cases, ensure professional and prompt client communication regarding each case.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications to USCIS and Department of Labor on behalf of international employees.Work with clients to gather necessary information and documentation, monitor status of cases, ensure professional and prompt client communication regarding each case.

    • Draft support letters, affidavits and/or any other necessary documents for the particular type of visa. Monitor changes in immigration and DOLlegislation and alert international community and hiring units about changes.

    • Work to resolve complex problems related to non-immigrant status by communicating with a wide variety of government personnel and embassy and consulate officials.

    • Communicate with departments and petitioners to understand internal and external policies and process related to filing visa and PERM documents.

    • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications to USCIS and Department of Labor on behalf of international employees.

    • Develop and monitor database for caseload management.

    • Assist other functional areas in Human Resources as directed.

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years' experience in immigration or human resources

    • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Understanding of visa types or related area.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's and/or JD degree.

    • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience and thorough understanding of employment-related visas, specifically H, TN, and O visas.

    • An understanding of the PERM process (EB-2 and EB-3) as well as EB­-lB immigrant category for institutions of higher education.

    • Knowledge of the F-1 and J regulations is a plus.
