  • Job Description Summary

    Responsible for facilitating factory to field process improvement, design for install, and supporting VCP and DCW install initiatives in WHXR. Includes activities such as problem solving, data analytics, kaizen, project management, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for delivering on factory to field improvements

    • Focus on reducing cost globally across install.

    • Working cross functionally with the engineering and service organization to drive safety, VCP, and DFI initiatives

    • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

    • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

    • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in similar role

    • Proven track record in successfully driving cross-functional projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams

    • Superior organizational, project management, LEAN, and analytical skills

    • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in ambiguous environments. Change agent with energy and passion; enthusiasm to drive change. Ability to thrive in environments with high levels of complexity and ambiguity

    • Ability to lead organizational change management initiatives. Ability to make formal presentations (internal). Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities

    • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and globally up to 20 percent of the time

    Desired Characteristics

    • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

    • Project/Program Management certification

    • Familiarity with Tableau, myProjects, OBIEE, myOrders

    • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork & influencing; networking skills

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity

    • Maintains excitement for a process and drives to meeting the goal in the face of unfavorable odds and setbacks

    For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $98,880.00-$148,320.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
