We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic Lead to join our team in Irvine, CA. This position offers substantial opportunities for growth within our dynamic company. The ideal candidate will be available for either the 1st or 2nd shift, possess bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting large machinery, PLCs, and programming. Electrical and HVAC experience is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance activities on large machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Troubleshoot PLCs and programming issues to maintain efficient operation of production systems.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential equipment malfunctions.

• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs and schedule repairs accordingly.

• Utilize electrical and HVAC expertise to address issues and optimize equipment performance.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting large machinery and equipment.

• Proficiency in PLCs, programming, electrical systems, and HVAC operations.

• English and Spanish strongly preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and wear steel-toe shoes during work hours.

• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and selft starter

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
