The Role

Are you passionate about security architecture and driven to protect against the latest threats? We are seeking a Security Architect who will join our team and take the lead on developing, implementing, and maintaining our security strategy within our Service Provider organization.

As our Security Architect, you will work closely with our leadership team to design and implement effective security solutions that not only protect our business objectives and regulatory requirements, but also provide innovative solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years experience in the Technology

industry.

7+ years Security Architecture experience with focus on IAM control domain OR 10+ years Solution Architecture experience with significant exposure in the IAM space

Essential capabilities (core)

Key Accountabilities:

• ProvidingSecurityArchitectureconsultancystylesubject matter expertise to enablethe BusinessandProject teams understand impacts from proposedsystem changes.Includeshandingdifficultconversationsandinfluencingcolleaguesinrealizingtheneedforsecurity;

• Deliveringtheconceptualandlogicalsecuritydesignabstractions to identifythreatsandvulnerabilitiesaspartofthe solution Security Architecture;

• Analyzing systems,applicationsandsystemcomponents to identifyrisksandproposemitigatingsecuritycontrolsand countermeasures;

• Supportingtheimplementationteam to identify & executeonsolutionhardeningandsecureconfigurations;

• Managesignificantarchitecturaldecisionsinvolvingseniormanagement, sponsorsandprojects to ensuresecure outcomesand appropriate governancepracticesare adheredto,including notifications to TechnologyArchitectureForums;

• Leveragingandupdatingexistingcontrolreferencepatternsanddevelopingnewdesignartefacts to outlineintegration approaches, use-cases, re-use,andtechnicalreferenceforEnterprise securitycapabilities;

• Proactively managingriskandassurancerequirementswhensupportingdesignsthatintroducesmaterialchange to risk profiles. Ensures Projects'considerationof risk appetiteand

regulatory compliance obligations;

• Coachingandmentoring othersinthepracticalapplicationofsecurityandriskmanagement concepts,principles and strategies, andrelevantindustrystandards.Supportdeveloping

specific skills of others and provide knowledge to enhance the person's professional and personal growth.

Qualification Requirements

Degree in Computer Science / information systems or equivalent technical qualification Security Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP etc) would be beneficial

Architecture or technology related certifications (e.g. SABSA, Cloud Security) would be beneficial.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

-Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
