    PCSI is looking for Housekeeping Supervisors for our housekeeping contract with the US Customs and Border Patrol Advanced Training Center in Harpers Ferry, WV. This role supports site leadership with supervising housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff by directing employees on assignments, arranging schedules, and providing leadership and training. They also inspect work to ensure adherence to contract standards and order supplies as needed.

    While this is a federal contract, the setting and housekeeping procedures are similar to a hotel. This position is part-time, weekends only , typically on a day shift (about 16 hours per week). The selected candidate must pass a federal clearance after accepting an offer to work at this location.

    Base pay of $24.00-25.00/hr depending upon experience.

    • Includes 401k plan with matching on contributions up to 6%.

    What You'll Do as a Housekeeping Supervisor:

    • Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff daily.

    • Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.

    • Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.

    • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.

    • Establish cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards and educate staff on standards.

    • Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.

    • Respond to customer complaints and special requests.

    • Order and maintain all cleaning supplies, equipment and tools and submit invoices of ordered supplies. May be required to evaluate and recommend equipment and tools necessary for job functions.

    • Ensure adherence to Quality Control and Safety Plans. Promote Management of Safety (MOST) philosophy and practices. Continuous on-going process improvement. Make all decisions with Safety First.

    • Work with the Operations, Quality, and Safety departments on issues and concerns pertaining to the established goals.

    • Collaborate with Workforce Development to place employees in suitable positions and given appropriate accommodations (as required).

    • Maintain consistent positive customer relations through written and verbal professional communications and respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.

    What You'll Need to Be Successful:

    • High school diploma or GED.

    • Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.

    • Experience in a hotel environment preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Requires knowledge of PC functions and software, including Microsoft Office 365.

    • Possess advanced written and oral communication skills.

    • Possess extensive analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to be a self-starter and have strong time management skills.

    • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and handle multiple priorities.

    • Ability and willingness to exert disciplinary action as needed as well as delegate authority.

    • Ability to work both with minimal supervision and as a team player.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to pass criminal, financial, drug, and driving screening.

    • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.

    • Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.

    • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

    • Ability to travel up to 50% locally.

    • Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-50 pounds.

    • Ability to remain standing for up to 6 hours a day and tour facilities up to 90%.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).

    • 2 years: Supervisory experience, housekeeping supervisor preferred

    • 2 years: Housekeeping experience, hotel environment preferred
