The Job You Will Perform:

• Ensure graphics are engineered to customer press specifications.

• Assemble final layout for AFAs and plate separations to include all traps, bleeds, elements to meet customer press requirements.

• Responsible for meeting customer deadlines for art generation.

• Provide excellent customer service through timely and accurate customer communications along with coordination with manufacturing for a quality product.

• Accurately enter customer orders into order entry system.

• Communication status of orders to manufacturing as well as customers.

• Initiate entry of customer complaints into the system.

• Produce quotations for customer and bill orders when shipped.

• Work with production staff to schedule to achieve on-time customer deliveries.

• Daily communication with site management, customer service, sales and end customer.

• Maintain up to date customer and press specific information.

• Responsible for meeting customer deadlines, finding solutions to customer issues/complaints.

• Responsible for a quality product being the end result.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• 3 years of industry experience with a high school diploma/GED or an undergraduate degree

• Minimum of 3-6 years as a professional Pre-Press Technician with a thorough knowledge of, and concentration in, Flexographic Printing Specifications and their application, is required.

• Knowledge of Corrugated Packaging is highly desirable but not required.

• Working Knowledge of Esko Graphics Software is Essential.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or higher is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Macintosh OSX is necessary.

• Minimum 2 year Degree in Graphic Design/Communications or Printing Technology.

• Superior organizational skills with a high quality of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.

• Ability to be proactive and self-directed while working professionally in a team environment to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
