  • If you are a travel management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in St. Louis, MO/ Sidney, OH you will execute strategic initiatives across international markets that are critical to the success of Copeland's global travel program, manage corporate travel policies and monitor traveling activity, and oversee the global travel program in all world areas. The Global Travel Specialist is a dedicated resource to coordinate efforts regionally and globally and assumes overall accountability for the success of the program. The goal is to ensure employee travel is safe and organized according to company policy.

    AS A GLOBAL TRAVEL SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

    • Develop, communicate and implement the Copeland Global Travel program, including continued support and coordination after implementation

    • Track service configurations, technology used (OLBT), IATAs, and GDS in use by location, including consolidation of global data

    • Introduce and implement products, technologies, and processes to strengthen and enhance the overall travel program

    • Implement systems/procedures to help drive compliance

    • Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen program and further reduce total cost

    • Work closely with Copeland Global Security to ensure traveler security and risk management

    • Assist in developing strategies and tactics in response to industry changes and trends

    • Work with Copeland HR and Finance to evaluate and manage travel policies

    • Service provider and travel program management

    • Conduct quarterly reviews with Copeland Corporate suppliers

    • Establish key performance indicators for all service providers and ongoing performance management

    • Measure and benchmark program performance

    WHO YOU ARE:

    REQUIRED EDUCTION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

    • 3-5 years Travel Management/travel agency or Airline Industry experience

    • Travel system experience (such as AMEX GBT, Concur, GetThere or similar systems)

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • GDS (Global Distribution System) Certification

    • Travel and Tourism experience

    Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours

    This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule.You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.     serve the needs of our customers.
