Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Paterson, NJ 07501

Basic Purpose:

Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in food production? Join our team in Paterson, NJ as a QC Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing product quality through effective communication and meticulous compliance assessment.

About the position:

• Collaborate with plant personnel to evaluate and document processes, ensuring adherence to specifications.

• Uphold production compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and critical process points.

• Follow Allergens, HACCP, Food Safety, and QA programs.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to SOP's, Policies, Lab Methods, GMP's, Ingredients, Packaging, HACCP, and Statistical Process Control.

• Conduct audits of manufacturing plants and environments to ensure compliance with Company, FDA, and State regulations.

• Assist in preparing for 3rd Party Audits under the guidance of the QA Manager. Support the setup and assessment of the sanitation program.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Degree in food sciences, or life science, SQF preferred.

• Experience in food product development or quality control

• Strong communication, creative problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
