The pay rate for this job is $23 - $30 / hour

Responsibilities

• Hours: 6x10's,

• Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours

• 2ND SHIFT - 3:30PM-2:30AM

• Regularly and consistently demonstrate skill in the areas of MIG, Flux and Tig welding.

• Welding various metals together. 

• Fit, tack and weld.

• Must know weld symbols.

• Laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals to create the desired shape or object. 

• Ensuring high safety measures while working such as donning protective gear for the face and body

• Layout and fabricated metal structural parts, such as plate or pipe.

• Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning and tack welding various metals.

• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Set ups. assemblies and tack weld parts.

 Qualifications:

• Be at least 18+ years of age

• Current/Active Certification or a willingness to obtain it

• Expertise in operating flux core welding equipment and techniques.

• Ability to work with various metals and materials to fabricate components and structures.

• Understanding and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to guide welding projects.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.

• Capacity to troubleshoot welding issues and adjust settings to achieve desired outcomes.

• Inspection skills to assess welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.

• Collaboration with other tradespeople and professionals on construction or manufacturing projects.

• Basic understanding of maintaining and servicing welding equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.

• Ability to pass a welding test.

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the commercial field preferred

• Prior experience using Hand tools, Power Tools, Welding machines, Grinders, Torches preferred Position may require a drug screen
