Robert Half is looking for a Finance Manager to join our client! The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. Are you are an experienced Finance Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company? Then this may be the role for you.

What you get to do every single day

• Own financial planning and budget management functions

• Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models

• Establish short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

• Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff

• Direct all financial reporting preparation

• Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks

• Propose benchmarks for analyzing financial and operating performance

• Analyze monthly operating performance against budget

• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

• Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

• Take ownership of insurance and risk management

• Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

• Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

• Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

• MBA or CPA is preferred

• Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• High analytical and extremely detailed

• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience

• Efficiency in a variety of accounting and financial reporting systems

• Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
