    We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

    Job Summary

    The Electric Transmission Strategic Relationship Coordinator is focused on the development of strategic, personal, effective, and measurable relationships with technical universities, colleges (2-year and 4-year programs), and secondary (high school) technical centers. The objective of this position is to foster personal relationships with department-level and college-level career centers and individual faculty members to effectively enhance our recruiting efforts.

    This position is to serve as intermediary between technical/engineering hiring leaders in Electric Transmission (ET) and specific individuals responsible for the instruction, guidance, counseling, and educational development of strategic technical talent for ET. Will have an in-person presence at universities, colleges, and technical centers, fostering personal, one-on-one relationships with key personnel. This relationship is to extend and focus on individual and department-level intelligence (as opposed to more generic college and university-based intelligence). Relationship consistency and persistence is to be a focus area in faculty, staff, and student relationships- representing the core values of DEV, explaining and delineating roles and opportunities within DEV and the broader energy industry.

    Will facilitate the institution of cooperative programs between educational institutions and DEV. Maintain active knowledge of strategic talent acquisition opportunities within educational institutions. Will maintain an active knowledge base of career events and recruiting opportunities at strategic educational institutions. Serve as intermediary for DEV membership in educational institution consortia and centers. Role is responsible for ensuring payment of all dues and appropriate engagement of DEV subject matter experts, leadership, and key personnel. Ensure key faculty and staff members of strategic educational institutions are aware of internship/coop opportunities, job postings (active and upcoming/pending), and emerging technical training needs. Role to ensure key faculty and staff aware of outreach and report-out events, such as end-of-summer internship report-outs. Maintain a regularly updated report, dashboard, or portfolio as appropriate that outlines where our relationship stands with each institution.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

    5+ years of directly related experience in workforce or talent pipeline development, workforce planning, recruiting and/or talent sourcing, program or project management, or another related field.

    • Experience working in or with the energy industry or a related industry.

    • Experience in program and project management, coordination, and facilitation with multiple internal and external groups, competing deadlines and priorities.

    • Ability to influence without authority.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.

    • Demonstrated ability to relate well to all kinds of people inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; and builds constructive and effective relationships.

    • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Experience analyzing data and communicating trends and metrics.

    • Excellent customer service skills.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelors
