    Looking for an opportunity to improve the way contaminated sites are cleaned up? Enjoy analyzing environmental data and performing challenging technical work? We are currently hiring an Environmental Scientist/Engineer to support our fast- growing technical programs with EPA's Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI). This position offers the chance to apply your knowledge to support a wide range of technical projects working in a team setting with ICF's environmental professionals who are passionate about advancing sustainable cleanup of contaminated sites nationwide.

    What you'll do:

    • Perform research, data collection, and quantitative data analysis in support of a broad range of technical projects for EPA to identify and evaluate technologies and approaches for improving contaminated site cleanup, including analyzing trends in technology use.

    • Provide support for site-specific technical assistance projects to help EPA identify solutions for site characterization and remediation issues.

    • Provide general support for the preparation of a wide range of client work products that will be used by OSRTI's diverse customer base including EPA Regions, states/tribes, and environmental professionals worldwide.

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or engineering, including geology, environmental science, hydrogeology, or environmental engineering.

    • 1-2 years of experience.

    • Knowledge of EPA cleanup programs (e.g., Superfund, RCRA, Brownfields) a plus.

    Professional skills:

    • Strong analytical skills, including experience conducting quantitative analyses using Microsoft Excel; experience with R, Python and data visualization tools a plus.

    • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

    • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

    $49,452.00 - $84,068.00
