    What you will do

    • Complete Calibrations for documented equipment for the Pensacola Cytiva Facility utilizing tools of trade, including conducting routine testing, and analyzing test data to make decisions about the need for calibration, repair and maintenance.

    • Calibrate measuring and indicating instruments to meet established standards for Cytiva and customers. Test and measure accuracy of instruments used to heat, light, weight, voltage, amperage, vacuum, magnetic resistance, or various content measurements. Perform required maintenance to ensure instruments and equipment meet performance and quality standards. At times, the Maintenance Technician's may perform and/or assist in the required maintenance or repair for specific equipment/components. You will contribute to the repair of instruments, equipment and/or control systems, including installation of new or repaired equipment or parts. Assist various Departments to resolve and repair equipment which determine precision. You will also assist in ordering of parts associated with the Calibration program/department.

    • Document and manage service through prepared reports and other paperwork. Prepare calibration certificates, data reports, and written recommendations. Document in CMMS and Calibration Software.

    Who you are

    • Associate Level in Electronic/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Metrology; Calibration Technician Certification or relevant Experience & Skills in a Calibration Technician Role will be considered in place of a degree.

    • Proven knowledge of measurement skills, Mathematical knowledge, Troubleshooting capability, Analytical ability, Software Tracking knowledge, MS Office, Communication skills. Proven ability and knowledge of using Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Counters, Function Generators, Signal Generators.

    • Strong Analytical Skills - able to critically analyze problems and come up with innovative solutions when required. Proven ability in using maintenance systems and software (CMMS, Calibration tracking software, etc.) Knowledge and proficiency of QC Tools: Flow Charts, Pareto diagrams, Control Charts, Process Charts.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

    • Experience working on production equipment in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

    • Experience working in a clean room or regulated environment is preferable.

    The hourly range for this role is $25 - $28 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
