  • Our client, [ Electrical ] is seeking a [ Electrical Engineer ] to join their team. As a [ Electrical Engineer ], you will be supporting to client. The ideal candidate will have [AutoCAD], [Adobe Acrobat] and [Bluebeam Revu] which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Electrical Engineer

    Location: Orlando, FL

    Pay Range: $50-51/-hr

    Description/Comment:

    As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the inception, design development, implementation, and maintenance of low voltage (600V and below) and medium voltage (5kV and 12kV) AC and DC electrical systems supporting various assets at the Disneyland Resort. Your responsibilities include developing bid-level construction documents, including drawings and specifications, as well as providing immediate support and response to reactionary projects requiring urgent attention. Additionally, you will support proposal development, author workload estimates with critical path schedule dates, and collaborate with the project management team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Coordinate and execute the design and construction process for small to large-scale projects as directed by the team leader.

    • Assist Project Managers and Design Managers in managing the design scope matrix for each project.

    • Coordinate the content and packaging of all design materials for review and approval.

    • Develop and maintain design standards, conduct product research, and assist in resourcing.

    • Develop RFPs and Construction Documents.

    • Direct and coordinate all photo documentation required for projects.

    • Maintain design logs and manage design resource library.

    • Provide construction support for ongoing projects.

    • Perform site visits for field verifications to support the design process.

    • Catalog and maintain project Item Specification Manuals.

    • Expedite the receipt of sample submittals required for final design approval.

    • Participate in weekly design coordination meetings and assist in resolving design compliance issues.

    • Research availability of As-Built Drawings in Disneyland Archives.

    • Assist in planning Executive Design Reviews and provide guidance for executive decisions.

    Basic Qualifications/You Will Have:

    • 2 to 4 years of work experience in a related engineering discipline with field experience.

    • Experience with design, procurement, and construction support.

    • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

    • Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD and Revit experience.

    • Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu.

    • Self-starting collaborator with the ability to bring concepts into physical reality.

    • Familiarity with California Electrical code, IEEE electrical low voltage standards, California energy codes (Title 24), and electrical safety practices.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Disneyland College Program or Professional Internship experience.

    • Experience in other Disneyland Resorts Lines of Business (LOB).

    • Certification in lighting design and implementation.
