Responsibilities

Under immediate direction from the Director of Laundry Services, transports clean linen and picks

up soiled linen from the offsite facilities to provide a clean environment for patients and staff.

Loads/unloads truck with clean/soiled linen.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Loads/unloads truck on a timely manner to assure that routes are met as scheduled

Delivers linen accurately and on schedule to assure that patients' daily linen needs are met.

Conducts pre-trip inspections on truck (i.e., oil level, belts, water, tires) to assure safety of thetruck to for driver and the environment.

Maintains safe driving record to assure all safety driving requirements are met.

Maintains clean truck (i.e., no trash) to set a good example of stewardship.

When not transporting linen works on the clean side of the laundry and performs various

duties related to the clean side of the laundry operation to assure that all patient daily linen

needs are met.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or

equivalent (GED)

Required Licensure and Certifications Valid Texas Drivers License.

Pay Range

$11.41 - $15.69 /hour
