    Summary:

    The Director Strategic Operations will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the system operations and execution of startegic initiatives in support of the Arkansas Children's Research Institute President. This role advances strategic implementation and advisory skills, enhances operations management, and develops and executes strategies in a complex business environment.

    Description

    1. Collaborates with ACRI and ACH leaders to determine and prioritize business strategies implementation

    2.Leads strategies to align and integrate processes across departments to improve efficiency, customer service, and financial performance of research operations

    1. Provides department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork; and embeds metric centric evaluation of work

    2. Works with leadership to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress towards goal attainment

    3. Oversees strategic initiatives from ideation to operational implementation

    4. Engages and collaborates with ACRI faculty leaders, leaders across the organization, campus and partnering organizations, physicians and scientists to ensure business processes facilitate optimal productivity and responds quickly to remove barriers for conducting efficient research activity.

    5. Works with the ACRI President and other Stakeholders to recruit and retain faculty investigators consistent with the ACRI strategic plan, including development of recruitment and retention packages

    6. Provides ACRI President and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on ACRI operations

    7. Leads special projects, strategic programs, and initiatives

    8. In conjunction with the Arkansas Children's Strategy team and ACRI leadership, supports ACRI strategic planning efforts and development of associated program budgets; maximizing and managing allocated resources to achieve desired results

    9. Performs other duties as assigned.
