  • Purpose

    • Provides strategic direction to the Global Implementation Project Management function within TAPFIN and improves speed to revenue by streamlining implementation activities and driving efficiencies in the overall process.

    Making an Impact

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement methodologies that drive business growth and efficiency.

    • Partners with external clients during the sales cycle and acts as a trusted advisor during the program implementation.

    • Owns continuous improvement of implementation methodology and Quality Management System (QMS) tools

    • Accountable for on-going evaluations of Implementations, recommendations to management on program enhancements, and related reporting.

    People Leadership

    • Manage a team of Global Implementation Sr. Project Managers and Project Managers committed to providing an exceptional client experience during implementation.

    • The average span of control is 5-10 direct reports.

    • Manage/drive talent planning for area of responsibility and helps develop, promote, and explain the vision, objective, initiatives, and process goals.

    • Provide appropriate training regarding the program processes, procedures, account management, financial acumen, reporting, etc.

    Your Typical Day and Other Key Details

    • Manage a team of Global Implementation Sr. Project Managers and Project Managers to ensure the smooth day-to-day implementation of MSP projects.

    • Ensure that all projects are using the documented TAPFIN Quality Management System (QMS) business process. Where such a process does not exist, will ensure that the project is following implementation processes that are in the best interest of TAPFIN, the customer, and the supplier community.

    • Maintain best practice solution documents to be leveraged for current and future customers that will streamline implementation activities.

    • Individual assignments as a project manager as volume warrants and bandwidth permits. ·

    • Assist in monitoring the progress of and providing performance / progress reports on current deployment projects. This includes status reporting to the clients, MSP group management, TAPFIN senior management, etc. ·

    • Team management (selection/hiring/training new employees, planning and directing their work, providing insight on career development and guidance, conducting performance evaluations, etc.) ·

    • Support sales activity where required and to maintain implementation related sales material.

    Other accountabilities as assigned.

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in business or related field, and a minimum

    • 7 years experience in the staffing or IT project services sector

    • 2 years people management experience. ·

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Visio and PowerPoint.

    Nice to Have

    • PMI Certification is a plus, but not required

    • Experience with MS Project or similar Project Management tools
