    The Director, Strategic Programs in the Value Assurance group, is a pivotal leadership role within the organization, tasked with orchestrating critical initiatives & transformations aimed at driving significant and multi-year cost reduction mandates, product cost-out and value engineering programs, product transfers & network changes, and end-to-end operations transformation across the company. This role demands a thoughtful, experienced, and proactive leader who has broad operations experience across functions and can collaborate effectively with various divisions and functional groups to frame targets and case for change, identify, size, prioritize, resource, and complete strategic programs, ensuring alignment with the company's broader STRAP objectives. This role will have end-to-end ownership of these initiatives, from conceptualization through to execution and impact measurement, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable value and build our internal capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the framing, identification, prioritization, resourcing, and execution of large-scale programs focused on cost-out, value engineering, product transfers & network changes, quality improvement, supplier sourcing, or delivery initiatives across multiple divisions, that are critical to the business's success, and ensuring projects are aligned with corporate objectives and deliver measurable financial benefits.

    Lead the end-to-end process from framing with Division partners, to initial identification and scoping through to implementation and results tracking, ensuring accountability and clarity at each stage.

    Drive cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while handling timelines, resources, and partner expectations. Stand-up large governance cadence and structures to ensure leadership alignment and to remove barriers to execution and pace

    Build and maintain a project dashboard on key performance indicators (critical metrics), providing regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and expected outcomes. Develop robust relationships with divisional leaders to understand their challenges and opportunities, integrating this insight into a cohesive value engineering and co-manufacturing strategy.

    Champion the adoption of standard methodologies in cost reduction and operational efficiency, sharing knowledge and methodologies across the organization to build internal capabilities.

    Collaborate with the Value Assurance group and its organization partners to establish and refine project selection criteria for annual objective planning, ensuring a consistent approach to initiative prioritization and resource allocation. Act as a key liaison between the organization and its divisional partners, facilitating communication and alignment on project objectives, methodologies, and outcomes. Monitor industry trends and leverage benchmarking data to identify new areas for cost reduction, contract manufacturing, and operational improvement, keeping the organization at the forefront of new insights.

    Lead steering committee meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure strategic alignment.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability in operations strategy, value engineering, or a related field, with a consistent track record in leading cost-out and efficiency improvement initiatives.

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, fostering collaboration and driving team alignment towards common goals in a matrixed structure.

    • Consistent record of translating strategic visions into actionable execution plans, ensuring that strategies are effectively implemented and operationalized within the organization.

    • Demonstrated analytic and financial competence with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data comprehensively, modeling its impact on the overall profit and loss (P&L) statement to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements that enhance the organization's financial performance.

    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.

    • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience in building and motivating teams.

    • Excellent communication and partner engagement skills, capable of building consensus and driving action across diverse groups.

    • Demonstrated experience in strategic program management, with a focus on delivering results withint timeline and budgets.

    • Deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement processes, with experience in driving improvements across these areas.

    • Ability to work effectively in a , fast-paced environment, leading multiple priorities and adapting to change.

    • Innovative problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges.
