    PAY RANGE

    The Target Pay Range for this position is $164,200-$200,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $127,900-$237,200 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

    Director, Program Management

    IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

    The Director, Program Management, will lead the strategic initiatives for the Contact Center and across the organization. Help develop the AI and machine learning innovation, future of the voice channel and, ability to program current initiatives. You will leverage deep functional and operational knowledge of the business unit to lead the design and implementation of new and/or the optimization of existing programs, initiatives, and services. You will also provide process leadership for the evaluation and continuous improvement of processes impacting the business units and members.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Develop strategic direction: Take an active part in developing and managing the business unit's strategic direction.

    • Measure productivity: Make sure that standards, policies, and processes are effectively implemented and create productivity measures, metrics, tracking, and reporting to assess overall success.

    • Support employee and member advocacy: Collaborate with internal and external resources to design and implement programs that support employee and member advocacy.

    • Change leader: Lead change within and across business units and functions to ensure the success of programs, services, and initiatives.

    • Manage project team: Lead and join project teams responsible for delivery, system enhancements, and process improvements. You may manage a team of project managers.

    • Mentor ~ Coach: Act as a mentor or coach to key stakeholders or other program management employees in relevant business/functional areas of the organization as appropriate. Guarantee the production of timely and accurate communications, providing leadership, direction, and effective monitoring of performance and services.

    • Build business case: Construct the business case for BECU's program investments driven by business and member requirements, the competitive landscape, and overall credit union strategy. Direct analysis of results from surveys and other feedback systems to identify business unit, employee, and/or member needs and expectations, and implement actions to address any areas of concern.

    • Drive Innovation: Work with stakeholders across the organization. Utilize data and experience to make informed end to end decisions related to project and innovation impact.

    • Drive program thought leadership: Lead program, product, and process thought leadership at the enterprise and industry levels, including partnering with external credit union industry groups and financial institutions, to influence key stakeholders across the business unit and BECU.

    • Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with the various federal and state regulations that relate to areas of responsibility and coordinate with other departments and credit union personnel to ensure the same.

    • Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts within areas of responsibility, working directly with vendors to ensure BECU members are receiving cost-efficient and quality service whenever third-party assistance is provided to our members.

    • Effective communication: Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing Credit Union goals.

    • Continuous Process and Quality improvement: Strive for the continuous improvement of processes and quality of service to attain Credit Union goals.

    • Maintain the necessary reporting: Maintain the necessary operational audit and/or management information reporting that may be required of the Business Unit, including keeping statistical records as necessary.

    • Meet BECU Competencies: Ensure your work aligns with BECU competencies and information protection requirements.

    • Additional duties as assigned: Moderate travel required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • B.A. or B.S. in business or equivalent work or education-related experience.

    • Experience required leading high-impact, cross-functional project teams in financial services organizations.

    • 10 years of functional experience in the relevant business or functional areas.

    • 10 years of experience in operations management, project management, technology implementation, and internal controls development.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Certification in project management and business process optimization.

    • Ability to present a professional image when dealing with management and staff and outside contacts.

    • Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate in the English language.

    • Excellent project management, effective leadership, and negotiation skills. A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
