  • Description:

    Working on automated handling systems in a clean room environment performing preventative and corrective maintenance and product installation. An entry-level candidate with a strong electrical/mechanical aptitude would be great. Open to training someone who is a self-starter and has a good attitude.

    Key Job Events/Responsibilities:

    • Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions

    • Work with minimum supervision

    • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues of routine scope

    • Ability to professionally interact with customers and internal departments.

    • Perform routine installations and maintenance on assigned Asyst products.

    • Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as prescribed by procedure,

    • Achieve Factory Training and certification on assigned ASYST product(s)

    • Effectively troubleshoot issues of routine scope

    • Be able to verify software status and evaluate rudimentary log messages.

    • Be able to determine location of logs with appropriate information for log analysis.

    • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork.

    • Other job related duties may be assigned by manager.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Education/Training:

    • AA degree in electronics or Technical School certification.

    • Typically 0-2 years of technical field service experience

    • Semiconductor or military experience a plus

    • English Language and Writing skills desired.

    Skills Required (Cognitive, Communication, Leadership, Interpersonal):

    • Good oral and written communication.

    • Good judgment, troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

    • Good PC skills (MS Office, Excel, Windows).

    • Flexible, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.

    • Strong Customer Satisfaction and phone skills.

    • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player.

    • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.

    • Must have valid Driver's License and Passport and ability to obtain all necessary travel documents.

    Occupational/Technical Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of wide range of electrical diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools.

    • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and diagnose/troubleshoot electromechanical devices.

    • Ability to read and understand general software system logs and alarm messages.

    Experience Level:

    Intermediate Level
