Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian part time with benefits to come join their dynamic team at HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland, located in Pearland, TX. Pearland is located in the Greater Houston Area. Position will work ~ 16-24 hours/week with benefits.

Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, at least 1 year of experience.

• Previous inpatient clinical nutrition experience preferred.

• Work on various patient population floors with various disease states, including critical care. Conduct nutrition assessments, perform nutrition-focused physical exams, provide nutrition support recommendations and diet education as needed.

• Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process and documenting in the electronic medical record.

• Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.

• Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Have the ability to work closely in a multidisciplinary team setting and participate in unit rounding.

• Be able to be flexible, a team player, and possess good time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
