We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team and support our data management efforts. As a Data Entry Clerk for our biotech company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organized data records to support our research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

    Responsibilities

    Data Entry

    • Input and maintain scientific data, experimental results, and other research-related information into databases with a high level of accuracy.

    • Ensure that all data entry is performed in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.

    Data Verification and Validation

    • Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies.

    • Conduct regular audits of data entries to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Database Management

    • Organize and maintain electronic databases and filing systems to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.

    • Assist in developing and implementing data management protocols and procedures.

    Collaboration and Communication

    • Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and other team members to understand data entry requirements and priorities.

    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to clarify data-related queries and ensure timely completion of tasks.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Prepare and maintain documentation related to data entry processes, including data entry logs, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.

    • Generate reports and summaries of data as needed for internal analysis and reporting purposes.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

    • Prior experience in data entry or database management, preferably in a scientific or research setting.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.

    • Proficiency in using database software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
