Data Engineer

Job Description

An employer is looking to identify a Data Engineer in the Charlotte, NC area. This Data Engineer position is a corporate position on the Business Intelligence (BI team reporting to the Senior Data Engineer. The BI team is integral in helping the executive team manage the significant growth the company is experiencing and facilitating strategic and tactical business improvements through reliable and timely data analytics. The Data Engineer will play a key role in supporting those initiatives. The Data Engineer position will be responsible for maintaining current data housed in BI as well as expanding the BI system coverage and capabilities.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree required

Computer Science background a plus

Technical experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines

Proficiency with SQL required

Databricks/Spark experience a plus

AWS experience a plus Accounting or Finance experience a plus null
