Job Title: Contract Systems Administrator

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

We are currently seeking a dedicated Contract Systems Administrator for our client based in Hoffman Estates, IL. The ideal candidate must be competent in providing technical support and excellent at system management. They will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, hardware, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software, servers, and networks.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

• Perform server patching regularly.

• Maintain network and system security.

• Manage, monitor, and provide support for AWS or Azure environments.

• Troubleshoot any reported problems and system backups.

• Implement and monitor network security measures.

• Assess and upgrade existing hardware and software as necessary.

Requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of previous experience in system administration.

• Proficient in Windows Server.

• Experience with server patching.

• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and network systems.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Relevant certification or degree is advantageous.
