    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a Program SH&E Manager to be based Riverdale, MD. This position will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall safety program for a $10 billion transit construction project. The chosen candidate will have strong communication skills, high levels of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position will be onsite full-time at the project office in Riverdale, MD.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

    • Perform a variety of tasks related to overall Program Safety Department

    • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Safety Related oversight activities.

    • Create reports for FTA and other outside agencies that conveys the safety status of the project in a concise accurate manner

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

    • Provide oversight to the HSE program across all organizations on the project

    • Develop action plans and recommendations for improvements to HSE

    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

    • Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

    • Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • BA/BS Construction, Environmental, Engineering, Safety, or related field

    • 8 years of SH&E construction-related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    • Transit SH&E construction experience

    Preferred:

    • OSHA 30 certified or better

    • Experience with Microsoft Office

    • Experience with the FTA Safety Certification process for transit projects

    • Experience with construction industry incident rates, data reporting, and data interpretation

    • Experience developing SH&E organizational processes and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience with relevant software applications or tools.

    • Experience communicating and educating SH&E guidelines and principles

    • Experience working collaboratively in a team or independent

    • Experience with adapting to new tasks or responsibilities.

    • Experience in communicating and upholding company values and standards.

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $128,960.00 - $166,400.00.
