    Insight Global is looking for experienced Code Enforcement professionals to join a large engineering consulting firm with positions available in Santa Cruz, CA. These individuals will be responsible for enforcing standard municipal codes related to nuisance, health and safety violations for the City of Santa Cruz. These roles will be focusing on enforcing standard codes related to vendors, but are not limited to enforcing codes for the following regulations on private properties, short-term rentals, general maintenance, etc. General responsibilities will include enforcing regulations via warnings, citations, conducting inspections/investigations, providing thorough documentation/reporting and public interaction with the community and city officials. We are looking for individuals that can relay enforcement in a firm, fair and equitable manner to help promote positive relationships and changes within Santa Cruz. These positions will require strong verbal and written communication skills. These are part-time positions (Friday-Sunday with shift schedule options of either 8AM-5PM PST or 12PM-9PM PST with an hour long lunch. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are open to working holidays when needed.

    Skills and Requirements

    2+ years of experience with General Code Enforcement

    PC 832-Powers of Arrests Certification/Training

    H.S. Diploma or GED Experience with Vendor Enforcement (Highly Preferred)

    CACEO/CCEO/California Association of Code Enforcement Officers certification, 7+ years of General Code Enforcement experience, and/or completion of Code Enforcement Officer Training at a local school (Highly Preferred)

    Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record

    Bachelors Degree null
