Our client is hiring a Staff Civil Engineer to sit out of their Conshohocken, PA or Pottstown, PA office.
The position will primarily support staff and project-level engineers in all aspects of projects including conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents and engineer reports.
Responsibilities:
Review of local municipal ordinances.
Design of sites including but not limited to site layout, site grading, and site utilities.
Assist the design team in preparation of plans for permitting and construction.
Preparation of permit applications.
Preparation of engineering reports, present technical information to demonstrate compliance with client requirements and/or regulatory requirements.
Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum years of work experience: 0-5.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D).
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
Excellent organizational skills.
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred, or in pursuit of obtaining it.
Experience in land development.
Willingness to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours, as required.
