Description
We are offering a unique opportunity for a dedicated and strategic CFO - Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive business plans, managing budgets, and overseeing our non-profit organization's strategic goals. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage financial planning and growth within a non-profit environment.
Analyze the current operational structure as it relates to financial planning, including budgeting, capital planning, and strategic growth planning.
Aid in developing the organization's financial strategy and provide an initial roadmap for implementation.
Develop strategies to address operating budget deficits, identifying potential financial risks, and providing solutions to mitigate those risks.
Collaborate with fundraising professionals to explore and develop financial plans and projections for fundraising campaigns.
Develop a business plan to address funding for strategic planning and organizational growth in a balanced, sustainable way.
Build financial models for growth initiatives to enable informed investment decisions.
Define, track, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators to measure financial health and performance across the organization.
Expertise in 'Accounting Functions', 'Auditing', 'Budget Processes', 'Capital Management', 'Cash Flow Analysis'
Experience in 'Financial Management', 'Fundraising', 'Budget Management', 'Business Plan', 'Strategic Planning'
Requirements
Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position
Proficiency in using 3M and other relevant accounting software systems is preferred
CapEx management skills are necessary
Must be comfortable using CRM systems
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions and auditing is a must
Experience in managing budget processes and capital management is required
Proficiency in cash flow analysis and financial management is essential
Demonstrable experience in fundraising and budget management is necessary
Must have experience in developing and implementing business plans
Strategic planning skills are essential.
