CFO - Chief Financial Officer

Description Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).This contract CFO position will oversee all finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, Information Technology, legal administrative, building maintenance and facilities functions. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the organization.

Your responsibilities

• Provide strategic management of the Accounting and Finance functions

• Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors

• Manage accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Recognize and manage business risks and insurance requirements

• Handle relationships with investors and investment institutions

• Supervise implementations and upgrades for financial systems

• Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company's financial information Requirements - A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior accounting/finance position

• Strong written and verbal skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment

• Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and other computer software

• Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

• CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
