    Robert Half is looking for a Business/Supply Chain Analyst to join a newly created team of a growing manufacturing company.

    SUMMARY

    The Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and cost optimization in manufacturing processes across multiple facilities by heavily focusing on manufacturing and data analytics (labor efficiency, KPI's, cost, production, product analysis, demand planning, forecasting, etc.). The Business Analyst must be self-sufficient in pulling, breaking down, and analyzing dynamic/complex data sets, preparing reports, and presenting presentations to leadership teams.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and supply chain, to proactively gather requirements and deeply understand our business needs in manufacturing capacity planning and product costing.

    • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage your analytical prowess to decipher manufacturing capacity data, uncover trends, pinpoint bottlenecks, and identify untapped opportunities for improvement. Your insights will drive decision-making processes and enhance our production efficiency.

    • Modeling: Develop and meticulously maintain robust models and tools for manufacturing capacity planning, ensuring pinpoint accuracy in forecasting and resource allocation. Your models will enable us to optimize across multiple print facilities.

    • Strategic Visionary: Lead the charge in developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy playbook. Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams, conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform our strategic direction.

    • Cost Optimization: Undertake comprehensive cost analyses of products and manufacturing processes, delving into direct costs, overheads, and labor expenses. You'll be responsible for identifying key cost drivers and proposing innovative cost-saving initiatives.

    • Performance Enhancement: Keep a vigilant eye on manufacturing performance metrics, including production efficiency, yield, and downtime. Identify areas for improvement and work in tandem with operations teams to implement effective corrective actions.

    • Insightful Reporting: Craft informative reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and performance indicators in manufacturing capacity planning and product costing. Your reporting will be instrumental in driving informed decisions at all levels of the organization.

    • Industry Expertise: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in manufacturing capacity planning and product costing. Your recommendations and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives will be key in enhancing our operational efficiency.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of Analyst experience handling supply chain KPI reporting, data analysis (cost/pricing, production, product, labor, etc.), demand planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and production scheduling etc.

    • Manufacturing/digital printing/distribution/packaging or related supply chain industry.

    • Possesses a general understanding within demand planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and production scheduling.

    • Analytical and numbers driven with a self-sufficiency in pulling data and dynamic/complex data sets.

    • Solid knowledge of product costing methodologies, including standard costing, activity-based costing, and variance analysis.

    • Strong proficiency in Excel required; Python or Power BI experience is a plus.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills with comfortability presenting reports to leadership.

    • Proven ability to conduct analysis to identify cost saving opportunities as well as ways to create efficiencies and optimize workflow processes.

    • Ability to travel < 5% to other manufacturing facilities as needed to understand workflow at other sites.
