Business Strategy Planning Director

Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Business Strategy Planning Director will be responsible for business unit strategic planning and customer insight work.

How you will make an impact:

• Understands all aspects of the Public Sector business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future.

• Translates Public Sector strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprise's strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.

• Documents strategic priorities related to local government business such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives.

• Builds and leverages relationships across the Commonwealth of VA to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.

• Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.

• Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 years of strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Master's degree preferred

• Travels to worksite and other business locations as necessary.

• Prior leadership and 3 to 5-year strategic public sector planning experience, are strongly preferred.
