    Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Development Manager, Electric Terminal Tractors & Big Trucks based at our Greenville, NC.

    What you will do

    • As HYG introduces new big electric trucks, this position will be responsible to grow this part of the business as customers transition away from diesel and to electric, including hydrogen fuel cell.

    • Develop the overall electric Terminal Tractor, FLT and CH business by executing complex projects in conjunction with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. These projects include the adoption of Hyster-Yale offered hydrogen, electrification, and automation solutions.

    • This position will also act as team lead for the day-to-day business of the electric truck sales.

    • Coordinate the growth of the company's newly established electric big truck product lines.

    • Support creation of Customer Requirement statements by industry & application. Develop and deepen market insights that extends product line competitiveness.

    • Drive field sales and dealer engagement for electric terminal tractors, container handlers and big forklift trucks.

    • Manage complex end to end customer implementation projects of new technology, including electrical infrastructure, hydrogen & grants/incentives.

    What you will need

    • University degree or significant field experience & on-the-job training.

    • 5-7 years experience - technical product & application knowledge, preferably of MHE or capital equipment. Knowledge of port activities and Terminal Tractor industry a plus.

    Skills, Experience & Abilities

    • 5 years experience in B2B sales of capital equipment, proven track record.

    • Good understanding of financial merchandising; creativity in service financing (electric/battery-as-a-service, etc.)

    • Experience and knowledge is desirable. Experience related to Terminal Tractor business is particularly important.

    • 5-7 years field experience of the forklift truck / industrial or off-road equipment industry

    • Official Project management Training (Project Leader) Experience planning and managing complex projects involving multidiscipline teams.

    • Technical education or experience desired.
