  • Position : Business Analyst

    Summary

    The client has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an experienced level Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This position will be focused on supporting our product lines that process payment for these businesses. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently, and have the ability to solve complex problems.

    Responsibilities

    • Meet with business system owners and end users to define business, and operational requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

    • Participate in design sessions in prototyping new system reporting for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

    • Assist with the review and analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and help develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

    • Help to identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.

    • Prepare reports that address existing and potential trouble areas in systems across the organization.

    • Assist in the creation of cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

    • Manage models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide assistance to software engineers.

    • Lead team onproduct line implementations and upgrades.

    • Update technical documentation for supporting product lines.

    • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications (required)

    • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

    • 2+ years of experience inInformation Technology and/or IT Business Systems Analysis

    Additional Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field

    • Participation in and leading the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products

    • Basic knowledge of systems programming and associated activities

    • Practical knowledge and experience in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

    • Experience in the operation and analysis of data

    • Ability to envision system needs from business user interactions

    • Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives and how technology solutions impact the organization
