Qualifications -

10+ Years of Experience with MS Power BI and SSRS (MANDATORY)

Description

• Looking for a technical resource that is both a MS PowerBI SME, SSRS SME

• Will be assigned to and working very closely with Maximo and GIS business team. Efforts will be focused within these two business areas. Collaboration with IT will be required for some efforts.

• PowerBI reports will be 1st priority and SSRS reports will be 2nd priority.

• Review existing business critical PowerBI reports, make refinements to improve performance and to align with best practices. This includes making aesthetic improvements to reports to improve end user experience.

• Work to consolidate existing and any new PowerBI and SSRS reports into fewer like topic reports that provide range of summary level / executive level reporting down to tactical or objective data level of detail. Desire is to develop more consolidated dashboards that are highly organized and designed based on subject matter. Aesthetics/ overall look of reports will also be an important focus. Many of our reports go to senior leadership across the organization.

• Provide training to GIS and Maximo business teams to make them better PowerBI and SSRS citizen developers.

• Objective is to train business team to do as much for themselves through citizen development, as possible.

This manager is looking for a PowerBI SME and SSRS SME. They will be assigned to work very closely with the Maximo and GIS business teams. They will also work to consolidate existing and any new PowerBI and SSRS reports into fewer like topic reports that provide range of summary level/executive level reporting down to tactical or objective data level of detail. They will be looked to as a SME and will need to provide training to GIS and Maximo business teams to make them better PowerBI and SSRS citizen developers. Objective is to train business teams to do as much for themselves through development as possible. This person needs to be technical but also have strong communication skills. They may be asked to present when needed.
