    Our work depends on an AWS/Linux System Administrator joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime on and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

    ** You will have the opportunity to "modernize your skillets" in a "dynamic team environment" by working with "up-and-coming technologies" to include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, etc. **

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining and upgrading the Kubernetes clusters on the systems, including all the ancillary management pieces (i.e. Cloud Controller Provider, Elastic Block Store (EBS) Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver, CNI Plugin, etc.).

    • Patching, upgrading, scanning, reporting, and remediation of vulnerabilities for the systems.

    • Providing support to create/maintain ATO for the systems.

    • Continuous monitoring of all systems to include using system tools and functions like Amazon CloudWatch, System Manager, and other Linux monitoring tools.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

    • 10 years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

    Preferred Skillsets:

    • Experience with System Administration in the cloud (deploying and operating services and applications in an Amazon AWS/C2S infrastructure environment).

    • Experience with System Administration for Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) and Windows/VMWare.

    • Experience with Kubernetes.

    • Experience with Docker.

    • Experience with Microservices architectures.

    • Experience with System Administration for Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) and Windows/VMWare.

    • Experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

    The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
