    Job Duties: Works with the Global Core PM team to manage portfolios comprised of physical and synthetic fixed income, equity, FX, funds, private markets, and commodity exposures. Ensures all mandates conform to performance expectations, investment guidelines, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements. Applies technology and analytical tools to improve processes and build scale. Works with analytics, risk, data, and other platform teams to drive operational improvements and contribute to overall systems and investment and trading process design. Participates in research related to portfolio construction, asset allocation, security, and other investment topics. Performs tasks including implementing multiple investment strategies, handling client flows, rebalancing, and risk and performance decomposition. Utilizes experience in portfolio management in areas such as risk management, analytics, and trading. Utilizes knowledge in markets, instruments, portfolio construction, exposure and risk measures, or attribution. Manages and rebalances portfolios and hedging. Utilizes quantitative investment research and optimization techniques. Demonstrates knowledge of markets and instruments such as ETFs and other fund vehicles, derivatives, FX, rates, equities, or credit markets (e.g. options, IRS, CDS, etc.).

    Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, International Business, or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Associate, or related role. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, International Business, or related field and one (1) year of experience as a Financial Analyst, Associate, or related role. Three (3) years of experience with: Portfolio management in areas such as risk management, analytics, and trading; Risk and attribution measurement and ability to apply these to portfolio management; Rebalancing portfolios and managing client flows; Markets and instruments such as ETFs and other fund vehicles, derivatives, FX, rates, equities, and credit markets; and Applying technology and analytical tools to improve processes and build scale. One (1) year of experience with: Portfolio construction and asset allocation; Utilizing quantitative investment research and optimization techniques; and At least one coding language.

    For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $135,200 - $147,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
