    The following position is to join our Raytheon team:

    Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking an Associate Director - Program Manager to manage p rograms within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

    The Program Manager must be able to provide leadership, direction, and execution management of the program to include working directly with functional leaders within the matrixed organization to ensure the programs are properly staffed with personnel that have the right skill sets as well as behaviors, setting priorities, resolving conflicts & barriers. The PM will also own the responsibility for developing and presenting to senior management the program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term financial outlook to grow multiple programs under their direct supervision. The selected individual will support and lead capture activities including proposals, cost estimating approach, analysis, and gate reviews. Further responsibilities include developing and communicating strategy and tactics to reduce cost, improve quality, increase performance and reliability, and improve overall competitiveness of the products.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Establish and grow a trusted partnership with the customer counterpart as the primary interface with the COTR/Government PM

    • Drive a positive team culture while motivating the group to achieve program objectives on schedule and at cost

    • C ommunicate program status and corrective actions in a timely fashion

    • Partner across the enterprise to capture new business and ensure execution success

    • Present program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures to include: Agile metrics, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)/ Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC)

    Security Clearance:

    An active and in-scope TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration . U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.     Basic Qualifications

    • Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Bachelor's Degree

    • Minimum 12 years of relevant Program Management experience

    • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or Program Management Professional (PMP) experience

    • Experience managing a 50M as PM or Deputy PM or Program Management (PM) Level 4 RTX certification

    • An active and in-scope TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration . U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    • Experience leading cross-matrixed teams to include Software Development groups

    Desired Qualifications

    • Strategy development experience shaping program future roadmap

    • Experience in communication ground architecture

    • Experience with program performance turn-around (red/watch program)

    • PM Level 3 Certification

    • Proposal Experience

    • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products

    • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader

    • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed

    The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
