    Companion Animal Global Marketing - Associate Director, Customer Engagement & Multi-Channel Marketing

    The Companion Animal (CA) Business unit leads strategy development and execution across markets throughout the world. It drives global marketing strategies and activities to drive successful key company CA launches and maximizes the value of in-line products. Our company's Animal Health has a very robust pipeline of new products and initiatives providing customer benefits and driving business growth .

    Bravecto, Nobivac, Caninsulin, and the Otic Portfolio are leaders within their respective categories in the Companion Animal Health market.

    In this new position, the Associate Director, Customer Engagement & Multi-Channel Marketing leads the communications plans and directs the cross portfolio creative development process for development of tactics supporting cross portfolio initiatives. The incumbent will aim at providing and capturing the most value of launches at customer level. Efforts are aligned with strategic guidance set at franchise level integrating region/key market needs with the Regional Directors to execute tactics to pet owners and influencers.

    You will have responsibility to direct and create customer journeys for marketing planning and launch initiatives. The incumbent will bring proven, marketing, marketing communications, and business experience to influence internal and external audience behavior by establishing a systematic process for making marketing decisions which help our company's Animal Health achieve optimal performance. These will include directing multi-channel marketing journeys, customer segmentation mapping, impacting direct selling and digital channel marketing efforts, creating consistent planning and project management processes that ensure effective and consistent implementation.

    The Associate Director, Customer Engagement & Multi-Channel Marketing reports directly to the Executive Director, Global Customer Marketing & Commercial Acceleration and establishes marketing excellence ability within CABU for the implementation of multi-million-dollar marketing campaigns across the globe.

    This position is an essential interacting and influencing at all levels of the company as needed (including Senior Executives) to ensure optimized and successful Companion Animal strategic launches.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensures high level and detailed journeys are developed and fully aligned for internal and external customers and target audiences which reflect multi-Channel marketing planning including digital, online, traditional, Influencer, KOL, distribution, Face to Face, etc.

    • Responsible for Market Mapping to define and prioritize target segments by creating a meaningful and actionable market frame, driven by hypothesis, and informed by data.

    • Defines customer portrait by creating a holistic picture of customer personas, behaviors, motivations, and influences that can be used to develop activation strategies for achieving desired behaviors.

    • Develops with Franchises clear and consistent articulation of product, cross portfolio, and service positionings in a concise and comprehensive way for the purpose of implementing marketing strategy and tactics.

    • Defines and drives consistency and efficiency in marketing planning, communications, and execution processes within Global Companion Animal Marketing between franchises, customer marketing, and business execution.

    • Leads and manages annual planning processes including annual and long-range planning for marketing and communications planning processes to ensure effective and consistent guidance to support Companion Animal Marketing efforts.

    • Manages marketing project management support for Companion Animal Business Unit.

    • Collaborate closely with marketing franchises, regional marketing, and digital enablement to provide impactful materials for regional/market deployment and closed loop marketing processes.

    • Use data platforms and products to drive iterative change as necessary to drive measurable results.

    • Partners with Marketing Services to ensure effective planning and collaboration planning and executing omnichannel strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree; Preferred: Master's Degree, MBA or Advanced degree in marketing, advertising, sales planning, or promotion.

    • Strong life science, Veterinary medicine, animal science, and/or medical marketing experience is highly preferred.

    • Demonstrated development of effective detailed marketing and communications plans as well as Digital marketing acumen and experience required.

    Required experience & Skills:

    • Minimum 10 years of broad work experience in marketing (communications, brand, product, channel, operational) and related sales support activities

    • Successful track record to create the best performing tactical B2B and B2B2C communication initiatives targeting medical professionals and consumers.

    • Proven leadership and marketing experience of global successful product launches with measured results with set of clear metrics

    • Marketing, product, strategic, communications, digital planning, and business experience to influence marketing.

    • Excellent ability to plan and manage workflow with interdependencies and track progress.

    • Demonstrated timeline and project management skills.

    • Familiarity of the Animal Health industry or related industry, marketing, and commercial Operations.

    • People management experience preferred.

    • Interpersonal skills that will help in developing and building strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to collaborate and drive results for business unit.

    • Ability to challenge and drive the organization towards the success of a project.

    • Ability to work in matrix organization and work with people across multiple time zones, functions, and locations.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

    • Good coach, and collaborator with the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally.

    • Able to travel up to 20% of time including to different countries.

    U.S. Hybrid Work Model

    Expected salary range

    $135,500.00 - $213,400.00
