Position: Medical Device Repair Technician Location: San Jose, California Shift: Day Shift, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday Status: Temp to Hire $23.00hr

In this role, you'll use small hand tools to repair medical devices used in hospitals and clinics. From intricate repairs to ensuring quality standards are met, your work will directly impact patient care and contribute to the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair endoscopes in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Use small tools and microscopes to perform intricate repairs

Document all repairs accurately and maintain repair records

Ensure that repaired endoscopes meet quality standards before returning them to service

Working in a Clean Room assembly line, while executing production goals

Standing 8 hours a day to accomplish production tasks

Complete and maintain accurate written records

Understand and carry out instructions by assigned Supervisor or Lead regarding priorities, work schedules, special assignments, job standards and related information required to build medical devices

Operate manufacturing and measurement equipment when applicable following appropriate training; not limited to: microscopes, test equipment, EFDs, ultrasonic welders, soldering irons, dial callipers, pressure gages, and rulers

Collaborate with other team members to improve repair processes and efficiency

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
