    PeopleReady of  Princeton, MN is now hiring Acquisitioin and Inventory Supports! We are looking for Procurement Support team members with a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of parts procurement aptitude with 1-5 years of experience working with parts handling. Parts Procurement experience is preferred but not required. will assist the shipping, receiving, and purchasing staff with inventory recording through a computerized manufacturing information system called Total ETO. One responsibility for this position will be for entering inventory counts into the manufacturing system and maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting. Additional responsibilities include receiving fabricated parts for inventory into the warehouse. Also assisting in pulling stock to new projects.

    Pay Rate

    The pay rate for this job is $20 / hour + DOE

    What you'll be doing as a Acquisitioin And Inventory Support:

    • Possesses a sense of pride in their work

    • Communicate progress daily with Team Leader

    • Prior data entry and inventory management experience required

    • Familiarity with an Engineer to Order Manufacturing environment is a preferred

    • Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word. Etc.)

    • Excellent oral and written communication skill

    • Ability to be able to certify for and drive a forklift

    • ERP/MRP is a plus (Our system is TETO, Total Engineer To Order MRP)

    • Control parts coming in and going out to outside vendors for process and/or coatings, etc.

    • Distributes parts onto job carts or to building 2

    • When doing these parts should be labelled with and part numbers.

    • Corresponds with others in Production and/or Assembly when parts are missing, may have to locate the parts, find where they should be, and physically look for parts

    • Do physical audits on Jobs before reaching Pre-assembly and/or Pre-build, which consists of physically tracking what parts purchased and fabricated.

    • Making sure that if parts are in inventory that they are pulled and put on the job carts.

    • Will be receiving in all purchase orders from outside vendors

    • Purchasing, and contacting vendors to verify purchase orders and lead times

    • Stage all parts that return from outside services and distribute them to job carts

    • Do a final check of build capability report before job leaves to go to B2

    • Answers emails for parts requests from B2, if needing to be made in house making process schedule and print and given it to Machine shop.

    • Packaging parts for shipment to our customer or service technicians

    • Ability to interface with a variety of plant team members from different disciplines

    • Willingness to accept a challenge and inclined to take initiative

    • Verify that all parts are correct.

    • Problem solving

    • Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and procedures

    • Report any machine or plant safety concerns to a Production Manager, Production Supervisor, or Team Lead

    • Ensure that the work area remains well organized and free of clutter

    • Maintain workspace in good condition

    • May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned

    Job requirements

    • Must have high degree of Parts Procurement aptitude with 1-5 years related experience.

    • Continuous standing, grasping and carrying, frequent walking, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting and lifting for extended periods.

    • Visual ability to read prints and visually inspect: peripheral vision to avoid moving equipment.

    • Hearing ability to monitor machine sounds and communicate safety instructions with assembly team.

    • Forklift operations - Training available

    • Tumbling or sanding parts

    • Parts Group with packaging when needed

    • Pulling parts from inventory to job carts

    • Distributing nuts and bolts

    • Reorganizing inventory or stock items

    • Purchasing, with contacting vendors to verify purchase orders and lead times

    • Taking parts down to B2

    • Weekly cleaning out of the tumblers

    • Other duties as assigned
