Manufacturing company looking for AP Specialist to support their team! Great opportunity for someone looking for positions ASAP!
Minimum 1+ year of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
Experience processing PO and non-PO invoices
Processing 100+ invoices weekly
Basic Excel
Responsible for all accounting work necessary to insure accounts payable are accurately processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for all month end deadlines to be met.
Resolve invoice and un-vouchered receipt discrepancies.
Ensure vouchers are coded to the correct general ledger codes.
Maintain vendor records
Responsible for validation, processing and filing of invoices.
Work to drive process improvements in other accounting operation functions as assigned.
Scan invoices and backup documents in company ERP system.
Analyze, prioritize, code and pay bills and invoices, managing vendor or supplier expectations.
Answer inquiries from vendors, suppliers and employees, and research discrepancies.
Run and issue AP related reports as required by month end close and bank schedules/deadlines.
Perform check runs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
