Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a position for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Stoughton, Massachusetts. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and handling vendor relations. This role requires proficiency with Excel and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the processing and payment of invoices, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions

• Verify invoice details such as amounts, terms, and coding for proper allocation within the accounting system

• Schedule and process payments in accordance with established timelines and company policies

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing inquiries and discrepancies promptly

• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, track expenses, and generate reports

• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Evaluate accounts payable processes and procedures to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to accounts payable processes

• Maintain documentation and records to support audit activities

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications.

• High school Diploma or Equivalent

• Be well versed in MS Office Programs, particularly Excel

• CF Data experience would be a plus

• Dependable work ethic

• Demonstrate attention to detail.

• Strong sense of Organization

• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving skills

• Team player but can also take direction to work independently.

• Interpersonal & Communication skills
