Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the transport industry located in Chester, Virginia, United States. This role functions as an Accounts Payable Clerk and entails a variety of responsibilities, including high volume AP processing, client billing, customer service, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Process and code invoices in high volumes daily

• Generate and deliver invoices to a diverse range of clients

• Provide front desk support to visitors, including warm greetings and assistance

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with customers

• Manage vendor relationships, including resolving inquiries and discrepancies in invoices

• Perform Purchase Order (PO) matching as necessary

• Leverage skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to execute job functions effectively

• Although not required, experience in logistics would be advantageous. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Familiarity with Check Runs process

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices tasks

• Strong skills in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Oracle software

• Experience with D365 software

• Understanding of the Transport industry

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information.
