Job Description

As a Staff Accountant - Deltek Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting processes. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your expertise in Deltek to maintain financial records, analyze data, and support various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries using Deltek software.

• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

• Stay updated on Deltek software updates and enhancements, providing training and support to team members as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA certification preferred.

• 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant, with specific experience using Deltek software.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
